struktur AG / Spreed Online Meeting released libde265 - High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) a video compression standard, successor to H.264/MPEG-4 AVC (Advanced Video Coding)
libde265 has been developed from scratch as a clean-room implementation. Its standardized API makes it easy to integrate HEVC libde265 into applications such as state-of-the-art web browsers and next-gen video conferencing systems.
libde265 is licensed by struktur AG, Germany under open source LGPL.
