Dr. Karl Spanner, President of PI, receiving the award for 40 year´s participation at the LASER World of PHOTONICS.
Now the world's leading trade show in laser and photonics industry celebrated its 40th anniversary and awarded PI with a prize for its long-term participation.
In the early days, PI started as a manufacturer of optical tables and accessories for laser beam steering. Today, the company exhibits at the trade show as global market leader for nanopositioning technology, presenting products and complete system solutions for optical metrology and materials processing. True then and true today: The LASER World of Photonics is the leading trade show for PI in the field of laser technology.
For the first time together with its subsidiary PI miCos, PI presented over 300 products, including 25 product novelties, 18 SpaceFAB and Hexapod variants and 16 product lines with piezo drives.
