(openPR) - This summer sees the launch of Essence Photography. Specialising in on-location lifestyle photography and photographic artwork for individuals and businesses, owner Michelle Payne-Gale creates portraits, promotional images and contemporary art, as well as recording special events.
Establishing Essence in 2005, Bedford-based photographer Michelle focuses on informal, non-staged portraits, and capturing images of local scenes.
“I like to capture a moment - no stiff poses, set-ups or forced smiles. I love to catch natural expressions – the types of shots that even the most self-critical subject will enjoy. I also set out to portray sights that may otherwise go unrealised or unappreciated.”
Her galleries, which she displays online at www.essence-photographic.co.uk feature lifestyle photography, locations, fine art and commercial images. Shots from her recently released ‘I Love Bedford’ collection are currently on display at the Druidston Gallery in Bedford (www.druidston.com).
She also creates original photographic artwork on commission for businesses, for decorating offices and meeting rooms, promotions, or as distinctive gifts for events and anniversaries.
Apart from venturing out and about with her camera, Michelle sells her location and fine art collections as prints and canvasses via her website.
But it’s not all photography – Michelle also owns Essence Copywriting, a service she often provides along with her photography. Originally a marketing writer, Michelle confesses that photography has always been where her heart lies, so she is pleased to at last combine the two.
“It’s great to spend each day doing something you’re good at, but to engage in a passion at the same time, well that’s just perfect.”
