After PRISM: The Fort Knox Alternative to Google Contacts, iCloud & Co.

The cloud address book licobo rolls out a powerful synchronization feature today. Thanks to full encryption, the German Start-Up is the secure alternative to iCloud, Google and Co, which are involved in the PRISM privacy scandal.

licobo uses the protocol CardDAV to enable cross-platform sync for address books. The new feature makes sure that changes on the smart phone are also seen on any other device like your Mac or PC.
Supported systems are, for example, the iPhone and iPad, Android and BlackBerry devices but also programs such as the address book of Microsoft Outlook or Apple computers.
Even in the free basic version an unlimited number of devices, can be connected with a licobo account and receive new contacts or changes directly and automatically to the corresponding address book.
