EAAPA 2013 expo reflected the latest trends in the entertainment

12-14 February 2013, Moscow played host to the 6th Eurasian Amusement Parks and Attractions expo (EAAPA 2013), which was widely announced across the CIS countries.
EAAPA 2013 has traditionally proven its international status and has become a major business event in the area of amusement parks and entertainment equipment, development of water parks, game rooms, playgrounds and summer theme parks.
This year, EAAPA 2013 has doubled the scope of operation and has opened the door to the largest operators in both domestic and foreign markets. It is the 6th Eurasian Amusement Parks and Attractions expo that fully reflected a strong growth in the domestic market. The show used a new segmentation system accounting for a large number of the market niches. The layout of different expositions in the pavilions was arranged in a way to help the visitors easily navigate through the show. The design of the pavilions and booths is now more modern.
Russian entertainment industry is moving forward by leaps and bounds. This is evidenced by the planned opening of Europe's first theme parks branded by the American studio DreamWorks Animation. Russia is the first country in Europe to get the complexes designed by DreamWorks Animation. Similar parks have already been built in the U.S., Australia and Japan. It was also announced about the opening of the world's first fully indoor amusement park managed by the American company Universal Studios and the children's entertainment center under the Mexican brand of Kidzania. This, of course, suggests that the market of amusement parks and entertainment equipment in Russia is on the crest of a wave.
EAAPA 2013 expo created favorable conditions for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between domestic and foreign manufacturers of park and entertainment equipment and services, as well as for the exchange of best practices and innovative projects in the field.
The business program was greatly enhanced. The expo agenda included daily conferences where everyone could gain the knowledge and experience that the speakers shared. The topics of EAAPA 2013 conferences were chosen carefully to focus the attention of the audiences on the hottest issues. "Safety of amusement rides. Case study of zorbing in Russia", "Automation of amusement parks", "Introduction of new entertainment formats in the Russian market", "Modern strategies for the amusement parks", "Theme Park – selection criteria and determining the direction", "Entertainment center equipment: ROI, setup, rotation, failsafe operation" – these lectures allowed to extensively cover the latest information on the condition, challenges and prospects of the Russian park industry.
A wide range of products presented, a varied program of conferences as well as other far-reaching improvements of the annual Eurasian event in the entertainment industry are attracting ever more experts and market professionals. This was the conclusion of EAAPA 2013 exhibitors and visitors. The exhibitors were happy to share about their achievements such as contracts concluded and sales of their equipment right from the exhibition booths. Among those were "PF SPARTA" LLC, Rrizemachine, ucs, and Show Time. Many others have acquired new leads and met with long-time friends and partners.
"Despite the fact that the show is not as big as in Orlando and London, its strong advantage is the fact that the visitors come here purposely – for the sake of the products, innovations and fun. Right from the morning, we had queues of the visitors and customers at our booth", as noted by Andrew Rogonov, the head of sales of GK "Konstruktivnoe Biuro Tekhnologii".
This year, the companies surprised the visitors with the latest achievements and developments in the field of entertainment.

The exhibition program also included the presentation of a new magazine in the entertainment industry The New Park Culture with the special issue featuring EAAPA 2013 event, the more so as the new park culture as part of the Russian park business and entertainment industry is rapidly developing.
EAAPA 2013 remains the main point of entry for large-scale operators and market experts in the area of parks, entertainment and amusement rides.
The exhibitors were happy about the quantity and quality of visitors and the latter were very pleased with the expositions. All three days of the parks and attractions expo EAAPA 2013 were filled with the activities, sales, networking and signing of contracts.
At the end of the 6th International Expo EAAPA 2013, the exhibitors were awarded with the certificates and chocolate hearts in honor of Valentine’s Day.
