Tees Events is proud to announce that Ben Portsmouth will be performing on CBS' Late Show with David Letterman on Friday, 8th February.



Ben Portsmouth, officially the ‘Best Elvis Presley Tribute Artist’ globally and winner of the Elvis Presley Enterprises Ultimate Elvis® Tribute Artist Contest™ 2012, will be appearing will be rounding-off the show’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love with Elvis Week” – a week or performances from the world’s best Elvis tribute artists, running from Monday, February 4th through Friday, February 8th.

“The King of Rock and Roll,” who would have turned 78 on January 8th, will be honoured by five entertainers who have all been winners of Elvis Presley Enterprises’ prestigious “Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest”.

On Monday, February 4th, Cody Ray Slaughter, who is currently in the touring production of “The Million Dollar Quartet,” and is the youngest person ever to be named an “Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist,” will perform. Brandon Bennett, who stars in the Chicago cast of the hit musical “The Million Dollar Quartet” will perform on Tuesday, February 5th. On Wednesday, February 6th, Justin Shandor, who currently portrays Elvis in the touring show “Rock ‘n Roll Legends,” performs on the broadcast. Shawn Klush, named BBC Television’s “World’s Greatest Elvis, performs Thursday, February 7th.

Ben Portsmouth and Cody Ray Slaughter are both appearing in the “Europe’s Tribute to Elvis” festival, organised by Tees Events, taking place at the Hilton Hotel, Blackpool on Friday, July 5th to Sunday 7th.
