Solar Alliance of America announces the formation of “The Solar Alliance Foundation” to benefit Disabled Veterans

San Diego, CA (February 5, 2013) – Solar Alliance of America, Inc magazine’s 45th fastest growing privately held company in America in 2012, announces the formation of “The Solar Alliance Foundation” to help Disabled Veterans.

The Solar Alliance Foundation was created as a way to take “one-time” donations and turn them into Solar Power electricity generating systems that will substantially reduce, or even eliminate, a Disabled Veteran’s electricity bill month after month, year after year, for decades to come.

“This foundation is designed to give financial assistance to Disabled Veterans in Southern California by providing Solar Power Systems to their homes completely free of charge.” Says Solar Alliance of America CEO and Foundation Co-founder, Artie Rose. “We are a non-profit organization that truly wants to help our Veterans for decades to come” added Rose, “and now we can because we take donations of any size and turn them into larger ones.”

“Here’s how The Solar Alliance Foundation works. For every $25,000 in donations, we can create up to $175,000 in free financial support for decades to come by providing free Solar Power Systems to Disabled Veterans at no cost to them” explained Solar Alliance Foundation Executive Director and Co-founder, Joe Lizura. “It’s a remarkable program, instead of giving a Disabled Veteran one-time support; we can provide support for decades.”

“Providing and installing Free Solar Power Systems is our way of giving back to Disabled Veterans who have given everything to serve and protect all of us” says Foundation President, and Co-founder, Cindy Purcell. “Our military men and women are returning home with unspeakable disabilities and it’s our job to support them in any way we can”.

“It’s important for everyone to support our Veterans” reminded Artie Rose “And now everyone can – by making a donation that the Foundation can turn into financial assistance every month for decades to come”. “We need financial support from individuals and companies, so we are asking everyone to visit our website at www.SolarAllianceFoundation.org and make a donation (big or small) today!”

“To show our support to our Disabled Veterans, and insure success of the organization, Solar Alliance of America will be making a donation to the Foundation for every system our company installs in 2013,” announced Mr. Rose, “The Solar Alliance Foundation has the potential to change people’s lives.”
