“Smile to the world. We can help make you shine” – A trip to Thien Phuoc Orphanage

Ho Chi Minh City – 8th December 2012 – TRG held it’s annual trip to Thien Phuoc Orphanage in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City last Friday, 7th December. This is one of TRG’s many annual CSR to bring love and hope to orphans as well as handicapped children.

Thien Phuoc is a special orphanage adopting handicapped children who are victims of Agent Orange. The children at Thien Phuoc Orphanage range from about one year to 15 years old. These handicapped children who are victims of Agent Orange have suffered a lot in life, including challenges with daily personal activities and integration into the community and leading a normal life.

Despite their mental or physical condition, they still understand their surroundings. Smiles and happiness radiate from their faces whenever visitors come and play with them.

By providing aid and food, but more importantly, spending time playing with the kids and taking them out to experience the sunny and bright blue sky, TRG wants to give an opportunity to bring faith of being able to overcome their disabilities and participate in life as fully and joyfully as other children do. We believe the smile of the children today is the prosperous growth for our coming generations.
