(openPR) - K&N Engineering has designed a new cold air intake, part number 69-4517TTK, in textured black for the 2006 and 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt 2.4 liter engine. Built for performance and show K&N Typhoon Air Intakes are proven on a rear-wheel dynamometer to increase horsepower and torque.
K&N dynamometer test shows almost a 16 HP gain @ 5900 RPM for this K&N air intake. The 69-4517TTK uses the factory Mass Air Flow sensor and a reusable K&N High Flow Air Filter.
The heat shield isolates the K&N engine compartment and allows the K&N Air Filter to receive a consistent flow of cool fresh outside air. The Cobalt's mass air sensor is installed in the K&N intake tube and is an important part of the overall horsepower gain with this system.
It takes 90 minutes or less to install most K&N Cold Air Intakes with common tools. K&N Air Intake Systems come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
