AOC presents two new ergonomic displays for business environments and demanding consumers

Dorsten (Germany), 20 November 2012 - AOC introduces two 60ID models from its Professional line, which impress with a set of ergonomic functions for a more convenient and healthy working space setup. The e2460Phu is equally suitable for standard applications for work and leisure, as is the m2460Phu, which comes with an AMVA panel. Boasting the latest energy saving LED technology and an excellent performance, these 61 cm (24″) displays do not only meet the working requirements and regulations of professionals, but are also perfect for SOHO users demanding ultimate technology.

Ergonomic comfort at work
The elegant displays offer a wide range of ergonomic functions that ensure fatigue-free working. The pivot function allows rotating the monitor 90° from landscape into portrait mode within seconds – practical when editing portrait photos or working on lengthy documents. Also, the monitor can be swivelled around by up to 360°, allowing it to be easily turned to face any number of people. Height adjustment enables the user to set the appropriate height up to 130 mm, resulting in the optimal posture for delaying fatigue and tiredness. The models also feature a tilt function of -5°~+15°.

High performance and classy outfit
The 61 cm (24”) displays have a classic matt black finish to prevent disturbing reflections and provide a 250 cd/m² brightness as well as a static contrast of 1000:1 (dynamic: 20,000,000:1).

m2460Phu: AMVA for top quality images
The m2460Phu boasts a high-end Advanced-MVA panel which offers extra-wide viewing angles. Convincing colour reproduction and depth as well as a fast response time of 8 ms deliver crisp and vivid images.

e2460Phu: Ultra-short response time
With Full HD resolution and an ultra-short response time of 2 ms, the e2460Phu displays brilliant and clear images in top quality even when showing fast-moving images.

Clever connectivity for ultimate multimedia experience
Both HDCP compatible displays are equipped with USB ports (1x up / 4x down), allowing an easy connection to flash drives, digital cameras and other devices simultaneously. For even more convenience, one of the USB slots offers an enhanced power output: with this fast-charge function, exhausted batteries in smartphones and other mobile devices will be recharged even quicker. HDMI and DVI-D digital ports as well as an VGA analogue input make these models real multimedia centres.

Energy-saving and easy on the environment
Thanks to the energy-saving LED backlights, both monitors are extremely energy-efficient in standard operation. Additionally, the LEDs allow for an ultra-thin bezel design. In stand-by mode the power consumption drops to less than half a watt. These models meet the requirements for many strict environmental certificates, such as EPEAT Gold, ENERGY STAR and TCO 5.0.

The 60ID models are also equipped with other energy-saving features. The i-Care software for instance measures the ambient light and adjusts the intensity of the LED backlights automatically. This provides for more comfortable viewing and saves energy at the same time.

Both models are already available at recommended retail prices of £ 216 (m2460Phu) and £ 199 respectively. The warranty period is 3 years including an advanced swap service; you will be provided with a replacement unit during the repair period.
