Comguard and WatchGuard run a series of Next Generation Security workshop for partners

Comguard, a Dubai based leading value added distributor for IT products and part of the Spectrum group in association with WatchGuard is organising a series of half day security workshop for channel partners titled ‘Next Generation Security-Red Instead’ at Dubai, Doha, Muscat and Riyadh.

'Next Generation Security-Red Instead’ focuses growing opportunities in the Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances market which is one of the fastest growing segments of IT market in region. According to a recent report by Gartner, the Middle East and Africa market for Unified Threat Management appliances in 2011 witnessed a growth of 13.5 percent. The report further stated that the growth in this region was driven by a mixture of transformational government projects, high-speed Internet connectivity adoption and a heavier reliance of regional SMBs using Internet access to conduct business.

Comguard and WatchGuard also intend to conduct similar Next Generation Security Platform workshops for End-Users in UAE, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia followed by workshops for partners during the last quarter of year 2012.
