IGEL Technology Showcases New SoC Thin Client at VMware Forum Cincinnati
CINCINNATI, Ohio - October 12, 2012 - IGEL Technology, a world leader in thin client hardware and software, announced it will be exhibiting at the VMware Forum in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 16. IGEL, a Silver Sponsor, will showcase its complete line of thin client solutions, including its upcoming system-on-chip (SoC) device, at the Duke Energy Convention Center.The IGEL Technology America team will be giving live demonstrations of its thin client capabilities. Attendees get an opportunity to experiment with IGEL's powerful yet easy-to-use management software, the Universal Management Suite (UMS). A hands-on introduction to IGEL's new SoC thin client will also be available.
The UD2-LX MultiMedia thin client is IGEL's newest addition to the company's broad product line. The compact device is an enterprise-class system-on-chip (SoC) thin client that is VMware Ready certified and optimized for Citrix HDX and Microsoft RemoteFX virtual desktop environments. It provides the highest multimedia performance and best user experience with minimal power consumption.
The VMware Forum is a free, full-day event where VMware, industry analysts and IT professionals will discuss virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions. More than 1,200 attendees will participate in presentations and share best practices to learn how to increase business agility while managing the IT challenges of cost, complexity and control.
