SGS Webinar: "ISO 26000 – Two Years On"

The objective of this 45 minute complimentary webinar is to provide an initial overview of the ISO 26000 standard now that it is now approaching two years old. The launch of the ISO 26000 standard was a landmark in social responsibility because it clearly defined and plotted an overview for organizations to develop and improve their performance in social responsibility. This webinar will review and assess the progress of ISO 26000 now it has been in existence for nearly two years and refresh delegates on the scope of this strategic framework and how some countries are adopting the standard. The webinar will demonstrate how delegates can utilize the standard to guide and develop their social responsibility strategy.

This webinar builds on other successful webinars delivered to support the growing awareness needs of sustainability professions at a strategic level who have a drive to know more about ISO 26000.
Target Audience
This complimentary webinar is aimed at social responsibility practitioners at strategic and operational levels - especially those involved directly in sustainability reporting and communications. It will also be of value to practitioners in ISO 26000 related areas including supply chain, HR, environment and H&SE practitioners. It will also be of value to practitioners in the sustainability reporting value chain and any senior organizational professionals who wish to move forward their organization’s social responsibility position and are taking a wide-scale organizational approach to embedding social responsibility in to their organizations.
Presenter
Dr. Colin Morgan, SGS Global Program Manager – Social Responsibility
Dr. Morgan holds a doctorate in organizational responsibility and has global responsibility for the SGS service delivery for ISO 26000. He also oversees the global delivery of sustainability reporting communications, particularly focusing on Sustainability Report Assurance (where the company has worked with over 100 companies to ensure their integrity in reporting). Dr. Morgan is also the product manager for the ISO 20121 and the SGS social accountability supply chain service programs.
