cloudControl makes PaaS pricing easier than ever

October 1st, cloudControl launched its new pricing model that makes the cost for cloud services more transparent and projectable for cloud users.

“We at cloudControl believe that our pricing should be as easy as using our platform. For this reason we have established the 1 Cent per hour pricing making it as easy and transparent as possible for our clients to calculate the costs for their projects.”, underlines Philipp Strube, CEO at cloudControl.

The new pricing is one Euro-cent for each active 128 MB RAM consumption per hour. Depending on the required performance users can launch additional and/or larger clones to scale up the available performance. To assure free of charge staging deployments or small apps, every deployment is granted 750 free hours per month for the first 128 MB RAM.

With the RAM-based pricing, scaling becomes very predictable since load peaks no longer have an effect on costs, making budget planning for web development and marketing agencies more reliable. At the same time the flexibility offered by the pay-per-use based pricing of the cloudControl PaaS model still applies. Users can add or remove clones to adjust the available performance to match the current demand at any time.
