Datamax-O’Neil Presents Comprehensive Product Portfolio at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2012 in Dubai

Datamax-O’Neil, a global provider of industrial grade label and receipt printing solutions, presents its state-of-the-art printer solutions, supplies and services at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2012 (14 – 18 October). At stand J2-8 in hall 2 of Dubai World Trade Center, Datamax-O’Neil shows its new E-Class Mark III Professional Plus (Pro+) and I-Class Mark II stationary printer series as well as its comprehensive product range of portable printers such as the RL4 and Apex series.

Datamax-O’Neil’s new E-Class Mark III Pro+ is a desktop printer ideal for manufacturing, healthcare, retail and postal service markets. It offers a locking media cabinet and an internal media capacity that can hold a 7.2-inch roll of media or stack of fan-folded media. The printer also offers fast print speeds, expanded communications through optional wireless LAN and Bluetooth, real time clock, and audible alerts. A large graphical display with a navigational menu interface allows users to generate labels and tags without using a computer. These features are normally found in industrial class printers, but available with the E-Class Mark III Pro+ at a desktop price.

Datamax-O’Neil will also show its I-Class Mark II high performance industrial printer with 20 percent faster print speeds, 44 percent faster processing and 61 percent lower power consumption than comparable printers in its class. In addition, the I-Class Mark II offers 50 percent more memory with 64 MB Flash and 32 MB DRAM as standard features. Its modular design provides the ability to upgrade in the field with options such as internal rewind, thermal transfer and wireless LAN. Moreover, the I-Class Mark II is the first printer to come equipped with OPTIMedia™ for automatically adjusting to optimum heat, speed, darkness and contrast settings to ensure the highest quality printing. The bar code printer provides the right solution for diverse applications such as industrial manufacturing, transportation and logistics, pharmaceuticals as well as food and beverage.

In addition to its state-of-the-art stationary printers, Datamax-O’Neil will exhibit its RL4 and Apex portable printers. The RL4 is one of the most rugged 4-inch portable label printers in the industry. Its design provides the ability to load and unload media using only one hand.

The Apex portable printer family offers lightweight and economical solutions for 2-, 3- and 4-inch receipt printing. Designed with mobile workers in mind, the Apex printers offer a simple drop-in paper system that allows users to quickly replace paper rolls and high capacity battery with easy charging options.
