“Revelation” a debut novel by MJ Mancini, the first in his trilogy of the same title, discusses a clandestine society of devil worshipers rumored to exist in Rome, Italy. The Cavalieri di Satana, or the Knights of Satan, is a powerful underground satanic cult according to Mancini’s book. The secret society operates in the shadows of the Vatican and controls most of the global financial markets on the planet today.

“Rooted in fiction, the organization is meant to represent the top ten percent of the wealthiest people in the world controlling the remaining ninety percent making up the rest of us,” says Mancini. “I created the secret society after researching most of the world’s elite power brokers. Most of them have no documented history of success, but instead, share one thing in common; they all struck it big in financial markets.”

Arguably, most of the general population pays little attention to the movements of the mega-wealthy. Americans focus on movie stars and gossip magazine headlines. Little is known about the super elite and their political or religious affiliations. “Money buys secrecy,” says Mancini. “It’s a sure-fire way to do what you want with little repercussion.”

His debut novel draws a distinction between good and evil by setting an innocent girl, whose body is preordained by Jesus Christ himself as the vessel he will use for the Second Coming, against the evil society of devil worshipers. The Cavalieri, who want to continue ruling the world with wealth and power, will stop at nothing to keep their stronghold. This includes hunting down the innocent girl and sacrificing her in a brutal ritual to Satan.

Well written, well researched, and thoroughly entertaining, Mancini’s novel is a delicious page turner that titillates the senses. His ability to blur the line between fact and fiction ranks him among the best fiction writers of our time.

Keeping in step with best sellers like “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Lord of the Rings”, Mancini has two more books in the series that are scorching page turners. “Bloodline is scheduled to be released this fall, followed quickly by “Second Coming”. Both have met with mixed reviews but are without a doubt as controversial as they come. As if Depicting Christ as a female was not enough, Mancini spits in the face of the fancy rich and the upper crust of our contemporary society.
