Russell Bedford firm wins contract to audit Uruguay's National Development Corporation

Stavros Moyal y Asociados S.R.L., the Russell Bedford accounting group's Uruguayan firm, has won the contract to audit the National Development Corporation (Corporación Nacional para el Desarrollo - CND) for the period 2011 - 2013. The audit was won in public competition against Big-4 firms.
CND was created in 1985 as a facilitator for the implementation of the country's development policies, both nationally and internationally.
The assignment involves the audit of the public entity's financial statements, including the production of audit reports and internal control reports. The Stavros Moyal assignment team includes CPAs, IT specialists and lawyers.
Stavros Moyal y Asociados is one of only a handful of firms invited to present proposals for this audit.
