Rodgau, 3 September 2012 - The new face milling cutter PENTA Dual from Safety offers an innovative design with a very positive cutting angle: This cutter is ideal from roughing to semi-finishing of all ISO materials.

The PENTA Dual is versatile, and with ten cutting edges per insert (double-sided) it provides increased efficiency - thus noticeably reducing cutting edge costs. In addition, the PENTA Dual features inserts with a negative basic shape with an innovative design to integrate a very positive cutting angle.

From roughing to semi-finishing, the combination of two tried and tested insert grades 5020 and 5050 with three geometries allow reliable machining of all commonly used materials (ISO materials P, M, K, N, S and H).

Thanks to the very positive cutting angle and the smooth cutting action, even less powerful machines can benefit from the PENTA Dual. Internal coolant supply aimed directly at the cutting edges results in long tool life with all PENTA Dual tool sizes.
