2X Adds new Facebook and BlackBerry Remote Desktop Clients to its over 2.5 Million times downloaded 2X Clients for Android & iOS
The 2X Client for Android is now one of the most popular free business apps downloaded from Google Play and Apple iTunes
The 2X Client is a completely free Android app that transforms any mobile device running on Google’s Android OS into a full Remote Windows client, delivering easy and secure remote access wherever you are.
The 2X Client for iOS has also built a substantial user base and is available to download from the iTunes Store, whilst the new BlackBerry PlayBook version can be downloaded from BlackBerry App World.
Most recently, 2X Software released a free Facebook Client App for secure access to Windows applications and desktops, making Facebook a tool for business for the very first time. Previously, Facebook users had to switch between their Facebook Web Interface and external software products to connect to their business Desktops and Applications. With the 2X Facebook App any Windows application or desktop can be seamlessly published directly from the Facebook account via a secure RDP SSL remote connection. The 2X Facebook Client is available from Facebook Apps.
All of the 2X clients can be integrated with 2X Software’s flagship product, 2X ApplicationServer XG, to seamlessly run published Windows applications and desktops from Windows Terminal Server and all major VDI Hypervisors including Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware or Citrix Xen.
