Mercury Solutions Limited to offer CompTIA CASP training and certification course starting from September 2012

Gurgaon, New Delhi-NCR, India, starting from 10th September 2011, Mercury Solutions Limited has announced to provide CompTIA CASP training program. Apart from CompTIA CASP training and certification course for domestic students, Mercury Solutions Limited is also offering CompTIA CASP training Bootcamps for international candidates.

The CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification clearly validates and displays IT professionals with advanced-level security skills and knowledge.

This CompTIA certification - CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner certification, is accredited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner certification is also considered to have kept current the CompTIA Continuing Education program.

The CompTIA CASP certification is an international, vendor neutral exam and typically displays the competency in:

• Enterprise security
• Risk management
• Research and analysis
• Integration of computing, communications, and business disciplines

The skills required for conceptualizing, designing and engineering secure solutions across complex enterprise environments, CompTIA CASP training program cover all such topics. It involves applying critical thinking and judgment across a broad spectrum of security disciplines to propose and implement solutions that map to enterprise drivers.

CompTIA CASP certification exam has no pre-requisites in particular; however the certification is intended to follow CompTIA Security+ or equivalent experience and has a technical hands-on focus at the enterprise level.

The exam covers 80 questions in total and the total duration given for this test is 150 minutes. CompTIA recommends participants to have 10 years experience in IT administration, including at least 5 years of hands-on technical security experience to give the exam, however it is not a mandatory requirement.
