It won’t be as hard to say good bye to the summer with the super September calendar put forth by Empire City Casino, highlighted by a windfall of giveaways and promotions, starting with Labor Day’s (Monday, September 3) Polka Dot Bag giveaway, a quartet of Free Gift Fridays, and the Fall Harvest Festival on September 29.

Labor Day kicks off the month when the first 10,000 Empire Club members to visit a promotions kiosk will receive a coupon for a free Polka Dot Bag, redeemable at the promotions table while supplies last.

Four Free Gift Fridays provide nifty items for the home party thrower. The first 7,000 Empire Club members to earn five points between 9AM & 7PM on Fridays will receive a free gift, each featuring harness inspired artwork. Here’s the lineup: rectangle trays on September 7 and 14, a chip/dip tray on September 21, and a large round platter on September 28. Once a guest has earned five Empire points in the allotted time, they can print their gift coupon at the kiosk, redeemable at the promotions table located by the Entertainment Lounge. After 7PM any remaining merchandise can be purchased at the promotions booth for 100 Empire Points.
The extremely popular Fall Harvest Festival returns for its fourth rendition on Saturday, September 29, from 5:30PM - 9:30PM for a trackside celebration of the fall season from harness racing to New York State agriculture. It’s a family affair which includes harness racing, live music, food, fun and games.

A pair of Comedy Nights will be featured in the Good Time Room on Wednesdays, headlined by Tom McCaffery on September 12, and Jay Larson on September 26. Doors open at 7PM, and shows start at 8PM. Admission if $5 for Empire Club members, and $15 for non-members. Elite members will be admitted free. All attendees receive a FREE drink ticket.

The Lucky Ladies Promotion returns every Tuesday of the month, when eligible female Empire Club members can swipe their Empire Club card at any promotions kiosk to receive one $7 Free Play voucher and one 10% Food and Beverage (excluding alcohol) discount coupon. The promotion continues into the evening at the Entertainment Lounge with Ladies 2 for 1 drink specials from 5PM-9PM, as well as Karaoke.

The Crazy for Cash promotion on Facebook runs from September 1–27, during which all new visitors to the Empire City's Facebook page will see a custom landing page promoting "Crazy for Cash Giveaway," and a description of the promotion. Just “LIKE” the Facebook page to enter and see instructions on how to enter. Fans will be directed to submit their entry via email. If someone is is already a current Empire City Facebook fan, they will be encouraged via posts to enter the promotion. Only one entry per person will be accepted and fans will have until 3:00PM on September 27 to submit entries. At the end of the promotional period, five entries will be selected at random to win $1,000 cash on September 28 at 3PM.

Empire Club members over 55 years of age have the chance to stay “Forever Young,” earning 10 Empire points every Wednesday to receive $10 free play, $5 coupon, and free valet parking.

Every Thursday, the first 4,000 Empire Club Members to visit the Gotham Palace promotions booth will receive one FREE $2 NY lottery scratch off and an entry into the second chance drawing on Thursday, September 27 at 7PM. Ten Empire Club Members will each win $1,000 cash; if the club member is not present, a $500 cash prize will be awarded.
