Olympus Europa Holding puts its trust in optivo for its B2C communication in Europe

Berlin, 28 August 2012 – Olympus Europa Holding GmbH now puts its trust in the dispatch software and technical infrastructure of optivo for its email marketing. The manufacturer of optical and digital products provides current and prospective customers across 25 countries in Europe with tailored information on its latest products as well as digital photography tips. The rollout will take place step-by-step, with the first countries to be served being the UK, France and Spain. optivo prevailed in a pitch against several other email marketing providers to succeed in winning over the new client.
Several factors were decisive for choosing the Berlin-based email marketing specialist: For one, optivo® broadmail enables a particularly finely defined and highly personalised addressing of newsletter subscribers on the basis of any number of criteria. Together with the Olympus CRM system, customised content can be generated for each subscriber – be it news concerning the latest products or photography tips for digital compact cameras or those from the award-winning PEN series.
Besides the highly targeted addressing of recipients, Olympus was also impressed by the many possibilities provided by marketing automation. For example, multistep campaigns can be easily and effectively created, which are perfectly attuned for various target groups and in automated dispatch cycles. This also includes personalised trigger emails. In addition, using a single master template, Olympus can prepare and dispatch newsletters with 25 country-specific design layouts. The main template contains fixed graphical elements such as the imprint. The optivo solution was also convincing in terms of its user-friendly, intuitive user interface.
