Paradigm shift in mobile phone encryption

Press release from: Aßmann Technology GmbH

Hanover, 09.08.2012
With the recent release of ATGcall version 1.4 technology giant Aßmann Technology GmbH in Hanover, Germany, has set new standards for tap proof telephony.

In the past when managers wanted to ensure their communication by mobile phone remained confidential they had to do without status symbols such as iPhone or iPad and resort to devices lacking e.g. the ease of use features we are accustomed to.

With the release of ATGcall 1.4 managers and politicians now have the freedom, and also the agony, to choose from the entire spectrum of iPhone, iPad, Android or Symbian devices (e.g. Nokia), Windows Mobile or Windows, Mac OS and Linux for desktops.

Enjoying ease of use and secure mobile communication in combination with the device of his choosing is what managers and politicians have with ATGcall. The application of end-to-end encryption of the highest level, this being certified by a neutral and recognised body, gives the user the security and assurance:
My communication will remain confidential!

This holds true not only for mobile phones, but also for iPad and desktop devices with Windows, Linux or MacOS rounding off the range of ‘inter-operationally compatible, network overlapping and encrypted telephony’.

The verbal confirmation of the displayed unique session key safeguards the user from the so-called man-in-the-middle attack and assures the user every time he uses ATGcall:
My communication will remain confidential!

Tedious person-to-person calls, for which secure international conference calls are really needed, were nerve-racking for managers and politicians but are now a thing of the past. Generally, they would fall back to using regular phones relegating security and confidentiality to the sidelines.
Managers and politicians can now make conference calls worldwide with an unlimited number of participants using ATGcall, either from a desktop to an iPhone or the Android device plugged into it, to all devices having ATGcall installed on them without anybody eavesdropping in on the conversation and all the while with greatest ease of handling.

The question as to why the Blackberry is not being supported? – Well, it is a matter of fact that the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has already declared it as being unsuitable for use in high-security sectors in 2005 and that it has been banned from being used by government officials in France in 2007 as variously reported. – India and a number of Arab states have demanded access to Blackberrys. The answer is therefore self-explanatory!

With version 1.4 ATGcall has become multi-lingual – Internationally operating companies and government officials can now choose the language themselves, a feature with which Aßmann Technology GmbH has met international requirements.

When a manager wanted to use a secure telephone in the past but their mobile phone did not have any reception, e.g. inside buildings or in remote regions, important facts could perhaps not be communicated.
What does it look like now – the manager takes his iPhone with ATGcall and uses a different means of connectivity – ATGcall supports all IP-based networks i.e. VSAT, BGAN, WLAN, LAN, terrestrial networks, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS, HDSPA.
This can also be useful should he wish not to be able to be located in which case he simply switches the mobile radio transmission off and chooses another of the available networks.

Regional, national and international authorities such as the police, border guards, governments, public security services and infantry units have the possibility to test ATGcall on various devices and different net connections and meet the Aßmann Technology GmbH team personally from 11.-13.09.2012 at the GPEC in Leipzig, Germany.
