Herzogenaurach, 07/26/2012 – WeWebU Software AG, the maker of OpenWorkdesk, and transactio, a leading outsourcing service provider in S-Finanzgruppe (German Savings Banks’ Finance Group), have published detailed information about their joint project. transactio has been using WeWebU OpenWorkdesk very successfully since several years. With it, transactio provides its clients with standardized, needs-oriented workflows for back-office functions, especially in handling inquiries and complaints, responses, salary accounting, invoice processing, document archiving, and purchasing orders for precious metals and traveler’s checks. New workflows for dealing with administrative tasks, whether internal or of clients, are continually added and brought into production. By now, more than 125 different workflows are in use.

Realizing this wide range based on the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system IBM FileNet P8 was only possible by using WeWebU OpenWorkdesk. The great flexibility it provides in designing the user interfaces as well as in mailroom management and in the underlying control database has considerably facilitated the continuous further development and the administration of the entire system. One and the same workflow can be provided to each single client in a customized variant. This is how transactio created the precondition of the ability to react to the requirements of the market at the right point in time.

Both, transactio employees as well as clients that access the workflow applications in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, highly appreciate the intuitive and efficient usability of OpenWorkdesk. Its fine-granular rights and role concept grants every user group, whether employee or client, secure access to tailored applications. Everything without installation on the respective client computers, thus even clients can access applications immediately. All applications are based on the very same ECM system that is centrally maintained, continuously extended and provided by transactio.

Uwe Kartmann, CEO at transactio, states: „It is our declared objective to deliver high quality at favorable prices to our customers. WeWebU OpenWorkdesk allows us to create and maintain the needed workflows for our customers in a very efficient and flexible way. Thus, we can not only guarantee highest quality but also achieve shorter mail delivery and processing times leading to a significant increase in productivity, customer satisfaction, and over all lower processing costs.”
