Kögel sandwich panel competence centre is now the Kögel PurFerro GmbH & Co. KG

The sandwich panel competence centre in Duingen, Lower Saxony, has been a part of the Kögel group of companies since the end of 2011 and, from now on, will be called Kögel PurFerro GmbH & Co. KG. The renaming of the company is accompanied by the appointment of three managing directors to form the management of the company: Ralf Hirschfeld, the CEO and managing director for Production heads the company PurFerro GmbH & Co. KG. Thomas Eschey is responsible for Technology and Jürgen Steinbacher for the commercial interests of the company.

Kögel PurFerro GmbH & Co. KG produces sandwich panels for Kögel, Europe's third largest manufacturer of truck trailers and for other renowned vehicle manufacturers. Kögel uses the PUR (polyurethane) foam sandwich panels for its new premium refrigerated box body vehicle, the Kögel Cool – PurFerro quality and its premium dry freight box body, the Kögel Box – PurFerro quality. The panels consist of a high-quality, 100% CFC-free, newly developed and highly insulating special foam and guarantees high-level protection from temperature influences. Direct foam injection of the intermediate levels and anchoring rails makes subsequent expensive fitting superfluous. The robust and easy-to-clean steel top layer is also coated with a hard PVC film on the inside. The 45, 65, 85 and 125 millimetre thick sandwich panels from our own manufacturing facility guarantee Kögel consistently high quality without any delivery bottlenecks.

PurFerro
The "Pur“ in PurFerro stands for pure, clean and also for polyurethane, of course. The "Ferro“ refers to the steel top layer of the panels.

Kögel PurFerro GmbH & Co. KG also supplies renowned special manufacturers of temperature-controlled box trailers with body elements.
