With immediate effect, the TRIAX Group, a leading international provider of digital radio reception technology, and FOXXUM, an international supplier of portal solutions, content aggregation and TV-Apps development, are working together in even closer collaboration on the development of new hybrid digital receivers for the European market. FOXXUM has been given the order of developing the TRIAX Smart TV portal with attractive content and realizing its integration into Triax end devices. With Triax, the technology company FOXXUM is expanding the European range of its Smart TV portal solution by a further key brand. The first devices of this generation were already presented to trade specialists at the ANGA Cable 2012.

The HDTV satellite receiver TRIAX S-150 Hybrid enables reception of all free-to-air TV programs via satellite. The HDTV cable variant TRIAX C-150 Hybrid, which is additionally equipped with a CI+ interface, can be used in many German cable networks. With the TRIAX IP-100, a pure IP receiver without an additional tuner, owners of older TV sets can extend them quite easily by Smart TV functionality. The three devices are commercially available from autumn 2012.
