The world record attempt of the "Trike-Globetrotter" has begun
The two will fly each week an average of 1,100 kilometers. First stop over will be Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where from July 23-30 2012 the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the world’s largest annual gathering of aviation enthusiasts is held each summer at Wittman Regional Airport.

Trike-Globetrotter: this are Andreas Zmuda and Doreen Kröber. Their adventure will take them with a trike across deserts, mountains and oceans, along with some of the world’s most remote outposts all over America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, is expected to take 988 days (32 months and 13 days) and cover over 100,000 miles with stop offs in 74 countries, till they will reach at Easter 2015 (April, 4th) Sydney / Australia. No ground support is provided for them at all!
All in all this will be a official World Record attempt for the longest unsupported flight ever on a Trike type Microlight!
