(openPR) - The Association of International Product Marketing and Management (AIPMM), the resource for all things product management, announced today the winners of the Excellence in Product Management Awards.
“This is our second year of awards and we are already seeing an increased focus and importance placed on the role of brand and product management in addition to education in those areas,” said Therese Padilla, President of AIPMM. “The caliber of the nominees was exceptional and the committee had a difficult time excluding any of them,” added Padilla.
The Excellence in Product Management Awards categories recognize achievement and merit in the following areas: Product Management Education/Training, Individual Thought Leader, Best Product Management Organization, and Excellence in Product Management Tools.
The Excellence in Product Management Awards Dinner was held at the Product Management Educational Conference (PMEC) West in Squaw Valley, California, on Thursday, June 14, 2007.

Excellence in Product Management Education/Training
This award recognizes the contribution and excellence of an outstanding individual, university program or training company. The focus is on how the training was introduced to the customer, and how it developed and promoted the discipline of product management. Nominees must actively teach the product management discipline to one or more industries.
