For series production of telescopic cranes, the functional tests for TÜV technical approval in Germany and the associated overload trials are usually enough to determine the required parameters for crane calibration. During production, it is then only necessary to adjust the sensors.

A graphical user interface optimally supports the crane operator, guiding him step by step through the following settings to achieve the right configuration. This comprises the following parametres:

- Telescopic mode

The operator selects graphical elements that he can see and compare with the crane with only minimal use of texts and language. This has the advantage of much easier use without having to refer to numerical or other lists. It also enhances safety by reducing the risk of selecting an incorrect operating mode.
