Atlantik Elektronik presents the CSR µEnergy SDK 1.4, the latest version of CSRs software toolkit for the speedy development of Bluetooth smart devices. This updated version of the CSR µEnergy SDK provides a complete development platform with all the latest Bluetooth v4.0 features. It enables developers to quickly create exciting new smart Bluetooth devices with low initial investment.
The µEnergy SDK 1.4 offers out-of-the-box operation with all iOS-based devices. Bluetooth v4.0 introduced Low Energy technology to the Bluetooth standard, enabling new Bluetooth smart devices that can operate for month or even years on tiny, coin-cell batteries.
With the CSR µEnergy SDK 1.4, developers can design and develop Bluetooth Low Energy applications in fewer than 10 minutes. The SDK includes 10 qualified Bluetooth v4.0 profiles, 8 related sample applications and numerous services.
The CSR µEnergy platform provides a single-mode Bluetooth low energy solution that facilitates the creation of compact, cost effective and power-efficient wireless consumer products. CSR µEnergy products enable ultra low power connectivity and basic data transfer for applications previously limited by the power, size constraints and complexity of other wireless standards.
The platform offers everything required to create a Bluetooth Low Energy product with RF, baseband microcontroller, qualified Bluetooth v4.0 stack as well as a customer application running on a single chip.
With the availability of the latest CSR Bluetooth Low Energy Software Development Kits, customer get the latest Bluetooth v4.0 qualified profiles and sample application support for heart rate, glucose meter, blood pressure, health thermometer and others.
