New inductive, capacitive and photoelectric proximity switches

Press release from: GSN GREATECS GmbH & Co. KG
GREATECS Proximity Switches
GREATECS Proximity Switches
New inductive, capacitive and photoelectric proximity switches expand the wide range of GREATECS. The sensors stand out through their high protection class IP67 and are available in different materials such as plastic, aluminum, stainless steel and copper nickel. The main applications for these sensors are industrial and automation technology.

The sensors are generating a switching signal at approximation depending on the selected types which are available for several materials and several distances. The inductive proximity switch version responds to ferromagnetic metal as well as to non-magnetic objects. The sensor detects these objects in a range of 2 to 10mm. In capacitive version the sensor detects non-conductive materials and reacts within a range of 2 to 10mm. The photoelectric sensor detects its light beam and converts a beam interruption caused by an object in the sensing zone into a switching signal. The range is adjustable from 10cm to 10m. The range can be set at all series with a trimmer on the proximity switch.

Our proximity switch series have standard sizes so it is easy to quote them as an alternative type. The GREATECS proximity switch series also provide a high possibility to save cost and offer a short delivery time.

The proximity sensor range covers almost the entire field of applications in processes of the industrial position detection. Specifications, samples and production quantities are available now at GREATECS.
