BMW North Scottsdale Helps Arizona Drivers Prep for Summer Heat

North Scottsdale, AZ, July 3, 2012 - BMW North Scottsdale is helping Arizona drivers prep their cars for the summer desert heat. Until July 2, 2012, the service department at BMW North Scottsdale will be offering a discount on hourly work for customers.
“The summer heat in Phoenix is intense, and it is important to prepare and protect your car to handle it,” says the BMW North Scottsdale Service Manager. “We offer a variety of diagnostic and preventative services to ensure your car is running at its best heading into the summer.”
Average temperatures can rise to over 110 degrees throughout the Phoenix valley during June, July, and August. Such high temperatures can affect everything from the engine to the cooling system, even to the suspension and brakes.
BMW North Scottsdale offers services to check for signs of heat damage and to prepare your car for the rising temperatures. Diagnostic services available include checking for oil leaks, damaged accessory belts and mounts, and hose leaks. The Arizona sun is especially hard on all rubber components including seals, gaskets, wipers, tires, and hose connections and these parts should be inspected for damage or strain.
BMW North Scottsdale’s service team can also access tire tread levels and battery power – two of the most common causes of summer roadside breakdowns according to AAA.
From now until July 2nd, 2012 BMW North Scottsdale is offering 17% off the hourly service rate on qualifying services. Customers can call the dealership to schedule an appointment and should mention the special rate when calling.
