celum introduces long-time industry expert Wolfgang Karas as Chief Marketing Officer

In June 2012, Wolfgang Karas (53) became CMO at celum. He is in charge of the worldwide sales team as well as celum’s marketing department. “Over the last few years, celum has revolutionized the market with its innovative solutions and continuous growth like no other digital asset management company,” says Mr. Karas. “I am very happy to be working with such a motivated team in order to further strengthen celum’s market position on a world wide scale.”
In the past twenty years, Mr. Karas gained executive experience in building profitable sales operations and increasing revenue for software and technology companies in both the private and public spheres. He managed numerous aspects of field operations throughout EMEA, from direct sales organizations located in Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Scandinavia, to strategic alliances with major system integrators and international resellers all over EMEA.
Apart from sales management, Mr. Karas also held a general technical management position in the US at a high-tech startup in Silicon Valley, helping to build and develop a successful consulting and development organization.
