Semantic Web Company's Florian Kondert starts his mission at SFNewTech: New stuff from the old continent - PoolParty, Linked Data Thesaurus Management
Press release from: Semantic Web Company GmbH
Just arrived at Silicon Valley, semantic web ambassador Florian Kondert meets California's digerati to reveal best-of-breed technology from the heart of Europe. Europe is already recognized in leading research on linked data and semantic web technologies, but now Florian shows up with bullet-proof enterprise software at the US market: Poolparty Suite for semantic information management.
During the next three months Semantic Web Company's Florian Kondert will meet evangelists, CXOs, community managers, VCs, journalists, information architects and many more to present PoolParty - just at the right time, since big data is the big thing right now. PoolParty has outstanding capabilities to extract meaning from those huge information sources by making use of linked data technologies. The software supports global 500 companies entering the semantic age of information management with scalable, easy to manage, corporate knowledge models. PoolParty APIs allow integration of semantic technologies with other systems like CMS, DMS or collaboration software like Confluence, Drupal or Sharepoint.
PoolParty is used by (to name a few) Roche Diagnostics, Credit Suisse, British Museum, Wolters Kluwer, Cornell University, The World Bank, Education Services Australia, Pearson PLC.
The 1st PoolParty show will be in San Francisco at
:: SFNewTech on July 10th
:: at 5:30 pm, Mighty - 119 Utah St - San Francisco, CA 94103
:: sfnewtech.com/
SF New Tech is the Bay Area’s largest, longest-running, and most-loved monthly technology event for young startups and established companies alike, to show off what they’ve been working on in front of a room full of people who actually care. Most demos are done by the founders, CEOs, or lead developers of some of the most innovative companies around. Each company (or developer) gets 5 minutes (sharp!) to strut their stuff under the spotlight and on the big screen and then another 5 minutes (sharp!) to answer tough questions from the audience. Hundreds of companies have taken to the SF New Tech stage to demo their latest and greatest and thousands of companies have been in attendance.
“SF New Tech is a networking event in which the -next big thing- in web developments meets the audience looking out for the hot new tip.” — BBC News
“SF New Tech is a great place to meet entrepreneurs and to be part of the exciting enterprise of the launch of new businesses and even whole new markets.” – Matt Perez, COO & Co-founder, Nearsoft, Inc
Florian Kondert
Semantic Web Company's Florian Kondert takes part in the technology initiative “Go Silicon Valley”, run by the International Office of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Los Angeles. "Go Silicon Valley" is part of the go-international export initiative run by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and the Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth. It allows Austrian IT companies to break into the US market. Up to 20 companies have the opportunity to complete a 3-month programme using the Business Accelerator "Plug and Play Tech Center" in Sunnyvale to kick start their businesses. The participants from Austria were selected by a US jury, who praised the high quality of the projects submitted. Following a preparation seminar in March, the first companies are currently in California.
