The Strikesorb 40 SPD products are engineered to protect vulnerable electronic equipment against electrical damage caused by overvoltage events and lightning strikes. The Maximum Impulse Current specification that the SPDs can withstand has been increased to 12.5kA (10/350 µs) direct lightning, per the IEC 61643-1:2005 standard.
