Elinext Group’s Representatives Meet with Kentec Inc’s VP in Cologne

June 20, 2012. On 14 June 2012 Elinext Group’s representatives Vladimir Antonovich, CTO, and Eugene Grinkevich, Business Development Director, in the German city of Cologne conducted strategic negotiations with Mr. Cupid Chen, Vice President of Kentec Inc.
Kentec Inc is a manufacturer of high-tech products, including LCD TV control boards, TFT LCD control boards, touch panels, camera modules, Blu-ray Disc (BD) players, portable media players and set-top boxes (STB), with production facilities in Taiwan and China.
The negotiations were carried out within the framework of the ANGA Cable 2012 exhibition, Europe’s leading business platform for broadband operators and content providers. The key topics of the 2012 trade fair, held at the Cologne Exhibition Center (Koelnmesse), included smart TV, hybrid networks, Video on Demand (VoD) and smart home.
Elinext Group discussed with Kentec Inc the potential of cooperation in software development for Kentec’s novel set-top box. STBs’ quantity and functionality have expanded significantly over the recent years. Moreover, worldwide shipments of these digital gadgets are forecast to increase in the near future.
Eugene Grinkevich said: “With a proven track record in software, mobile and web development as well as high-level expertise in HTML5 and smart TV, I firmly believe Elinext Group will be the most suitable partner for Kentec.”
