Sustainable Waste Management 2012 to Take Place 26-28 November, Dubai, UAE

The CWC Group today announced a new Summit that will tackle the current issues regarding sustainable waste management in the UAE. Held under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, Sustainable Waste Management Middle East will take place on 26-28 November 2012 in Dubai, UAE.
Dubai is in preparation to announce its new waste management masterplan, and this event will provide a platform for industry leaders, governments and regulators to discuss current and possible future waste management strategies.
Managing Director of The CWC Group, Tracy Clark commented, “The goal of the Summit is to help define a new model for a commercially viable, environmentally sustainable waste management industry in the Middle East – with a particular focus on energy from waste.”
“Regional policy-makers, international waste management companies, technology developers and investors will come together for the first time in Dubai to debate pressing topics including: waste policy; waste strategies; commercial models; project finance; and advanced technologies,” Clark continued.
