Exclusive Interview with Mobeen Mian

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mobeen Mian.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.

How did you get to where you are today?

First off, I want to thank the media outlets for giving me the opportunity to speak about my line of work and endeavors. As a graduate from The University of North Texas with a business administration degree, now completing my master’s degree in organizational leadership with strategic innovation, I launched my own media production line, #FOCUSEDDD, in July of 2017. Growing up being a youth coordinator for a nonprofit, in school as a full-time student, and competing as a boxer, there were small and major obstacles for a fact. All these setbacks made me realize that there is a way to prosper through the challenges we face daily, and its never too late. The 3 D’s in #FOCUSEDDD represent the Desire, Dedication, and Devotion it takes to overcome and pursue any opportunity we set forth. Therefore, the brand itself focuses on developing motivational content for anyone, by promoting, supporting, and marketing them and their visions through videography, photography, customized clothing, social media marketing, and event planning.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

It is crucial to stay positive through every loss or failure, and I feel like with every L I took, I got an E for effort. The encounters with failure are infinite for me. Haha. But I believe the challenges have always been me vs me. I realize the minute I start to doubt myself; I have already lost. That’s something that I have been always been focusing on improving within myself. It’s the matter of going out of my comfort zone, doing something I do not want to do at the moment, creates other moves and opportunities you may benefit from. I realized the key to success is consistency and collaboration with quality and environments.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

My brand #FOCUSEDDD simply started with an idea of inspiring others to stay focused in every situation, while looking for that “Desire, Dedication, and Devotion” within us. (the 3 D’s). The company itself specializes in services such as photography, videography, event planning, sports sponsorships, customized clothing, and social media marketing. And every content produced through the brand has positivity intertwined with passion, while giving others the chance to speak about their own brands and desires.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My father told me that if your today is better than yesterday, you already won. To me, that is real. Doing better than I did the day before. Putting my all in now, I can’t live in the past for my mistakes, rather just for improvements to see how I can be the better me in the present! Training my mind to look for every positive intention, has been the goal, and should be the long-term sustainable goal as well. In relationships, school, work, or any business, everyone has setbacks, makes mistakes. But it is never too late! And its how we maneuver to make a change. Only you have the power to make a change. With the right intentions and consistent work ethic, it is possible. That is the healing our community needs.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

To me, being able to have an effective strategy, plan, and action is useful for long term growth and success. Strategy refers to a well generated plan that can put you or your own brand in the right direction of success. By being successful in it, it can open even better opportunities for you to lead on and work with that can benefit you or the person next to you.

What’s next for you?

To do everything that I am currently doing, on a larger platform. Being able to work consistently with non-profits, small businesses, the youth, and more educated entrepreneurs is a passion. Giving more individuals a platform where they can share their visions and collaborate to reach more diverse environments and markets. Motivational and purposeful content can establish change within communities and it’s my goal to stay consistent on it, no cap!
