First-of-its-kind Desktop, Mobility and Cloud Demonstration Suite marks further growth for UK visual communications solution integrator, VideoCentric
Press release from: VideoCentric
Leading UK solutions integrator for Visual Communications, VideoCentric, has opened its brand new demonstration suite - a first of its kind - showcasing Personal Telepresence, desktop Video Conferencing, mobility, cloud solutions and interoperability between all the industry’s leading manufacturers.
The new demonstration suite incorporates the latest visual communications technology in a real world environment from the likes of Cisco, Polycom, LifeSize and RADVISION, and shows how desktop video and mobile solutions can really be incorporated into professional meeting room conferences. The suite also incorporates Microsoft Lync and Cisco Jabber clients and consumer software such as Skype.
The new suite adds to what is said to be already the most comprehensive video conferencing demonstration facilities in the UK.
“VideoCentric already have all the leading HD Video Conferencing technology , SD and legacy systems available for comparison on the same 65” screen under the same lighting conditions. This enables comparisons and interoperability demonstrations of systems not available at even the manufacturers’ facilities,” said Emily Shimell, Communications Manager at VideoCentric. “Now with desktop systems, PCs, MACs, iPhones, iPads and Android devices to hand with all the leading video software, and the ability for users to bring their own devices, VideoCentric can demonstrate pretty much everything a business wants to do with visual communications”.
Craig Brown, Technical Director at VideoCentric added, “The new facilities don’t just demonstrate a single piece of technology or software from one or two manufacturers – our accreditations and experience enables us to demonstrate all of the solutions we deem suitable for the business environment and how they interoperate with other solutions available in the market today. We are unbiased towards any particular product and share with our customers the real results from intensive interoperability testing – the issues as well as the benefits.”
VideoCentric also demonstrate Network Infrastructure including MCUs, Gateways and their own award winning Firewall Traversal Server, FTS enabling On Premise solutions to be compared to Cloud Solutions under the same roof. Their suites also enable Unified Communication testing via links with Microsoft, Avaya and Cisco integrators.
The new Desktop, Mobility and Cloud suite will be formerly opened in July, but is able to be demonstrated from right now.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
