The high level of attendance on the eltromat booth at drupa, and the keen interest shown in the new and advanced products exceeded all expectations. “Deliver 100% print quality, checked with leading solutions!“ - this was the motto under which eltromat was presenting its latest solutions for the issues of quality and efficiency in the printing sector. The feedback of the visitors showed that this topic is very present and important.

During the 14-day fair the quality of visitors at the stand was excellent and 20% more visitors than in 2008 were registered. eltromat talked to customers and prospective clients from 69 countries and presented innovations like the spectral inline colour measurement system “inco_check” and the improved 100% print inspection system “twin_check” extended with the workflow solutions to guarantee quality with enhanced performance.

With the product “inco_check” eltromat showed a world premiere and thus strengthened the innovative power of the company. To control the colour consistency throughout the printing process, it is common practice to remove sample material from the running web and to measure it offline with a hand spectral photometer. This process always means a disruption of production. This new spectral colour measurement system integrates the measurement process into the printing press. Thus, the company from Germany sets a new standard in colour control.

The biggest attraction on the eltromat booth was “twin_check”. The presentation of the system was unusual, but above all the performance and functionality have convinced the visitors.
Especially in package printing brand manufacturers make uncompromising demands. Not only a consistent quality control, but also the subsequent defect elimination is essential in this context. Even better, if reaching those quality goals also has a positive impact on production performance. eltromat therefore has upgraded the established 100% print inspection system “twin_check” by workflow solutions, which make complying with quality guarantees effective and efficient.

Gravure printers were drawn to the established and world leading sensor and heart of the most successful register control solution “regi_star 20”. Flexo printing and converting companies were also interested in “sincon_star”. The new single register control system generated interest and sales. The same applies to the 100% web inspection system “webvideo_star”, which was acclaimed by print professionals visiting the stand. With its high quality technology and excellent operating concept, the system offers a whole range of benefits in order to meet the growing quality demands of your customers at all times.
