“poo poo bags“ presents its first commercial “Shit happens – just be prepared“ which was created in collaboration with “Bears Calling” – a Berlin based film production company
Press release from: poo poo bags
“poo poo bags“ turn the rather uncomfortable moments in the life of a dog owner into an original happening.
16 humorous paper bags are a stylish, hygienic and environmentally friendly way to dispose of your doggie’s leftovers. The colorful bags with funny prints like “Doggy Bag”, “Don’t Blame Me” or “Size Matters” make dog owners feel like walking a catwalk rather than just making their way to the next garbage can.
Since 2009, the design team “jungeschachtel” (German Nina Dautzenberg and Swiss Andrea Gadesmann) has collaborated with the Dutch company “B.N. Dekker BV” on the production and marketing of this unique new product.
This summer, “poo poo bags“ will write film history by presenting the first international commercial for dog poo bags. The funny, exaggerated spot illustrates how the act of disposing dog poo doesn’t need to be uncomfortable anymore. The company produced a German and English version to market the product globally.
The protagonist of the spot is the one-and-only Violetta Bronner who is shown on a stroll through an upscale neighborhood. As she walks past the beautifully landscaped front yard gardens, her dog decides to take care of business right in front of one and on the sidewalk of course. On top of that, an audience of three ladies sitting out in their yard and a man grooming his flowers are about to witness the act. Using “poo poo bags“ the protagonist quickly disposes of the waste before anyone is even able to say a word.
Director Paul Gerwien added to the essential look of the spot with his unique ability to cast fresh, uncommon characters. The close collaboration between “Bears Calling” and “jungeschachtel” created a quirky, extraordinary piece of advertising to build awareness for “poo poo bags“ unique product.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
