Press release from: Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck
PR Agency: PRMG
(Center Moriches, New York) — Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is currently seeking donations of items that are needed as the camp prepares for the start of its summer season. These items will help make this summer a memorable one for the campers and alleviate the camp’s financial burden of providing these supplies. Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is looking for individuals and organizations to donate the following items:
● 4 Wii sets and accessories
● 12 eight-foot tables
● 15-30 Adirondack patio chairs
● 100 bath towels
● One small and two medium/large shower chairs (PVC with cushions)
● BBQ gas grills
● 2-3 sets of rowing paddles
● A gas-powered golf cart
● 7 Energy Star air conditioners
Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is also seeking a donation of a gently used small tractor with a bobcat attached to it. Sponsorship opportunities are also available which will provide central air conditioning units in the camp’s dormitories.
“The economy has placed a significant strain on our budget which affects our ability to purchase these needed items,” said Bridget Costello, Director, Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. “We are asking the public to consider donating these items so that we can make this summer a truly unforgettable experience for hundreds of campers with special needs.”
Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is a resident summer camp serving children and young adults ages 6-21 with both physical and developmental special needs. Its mission is to help children and young adults achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence through a safe and quality program of camping, recreation, and education in a summer-time environment. Throughout the program, campers participate in typical summer camp activities, such as arts and crafts, talent shows, cook-outs, swimming and boating.
For those who wish to contribute, call Bridget at (631) 878-1070 or visit www.camppaquatuck.com.
