Next-generation Demand Response software IDROP due to arrive in Europe
Press release from: SMi Group
‘The electric power industry is going to require powerful analytical engines as we enter the era of Demand Response 2.0...but many of us seem to be forgetting this important requirement,’ declares Smart Grid News.
The increasing need for renewable energy has brought about a headache to the energy sector: the sporadic nature of power generation and the consequent challenge of balancing the demand-supply equation.
Integral Analytics, a leading supplier of DR analytical tools to the American energy market, will be bringing their key demand-side management software, IDROP, to the European market for the first time.
Bill Kallock, VP Business Development of Integral Analytics, commented: ‘Integral Analytics is pleased to introduce to the European market IDROP, our patented software tool, which is taking demand response to the next level with its ability to optimally control end use loads in real-time. Integral Analytics is actively leading the way in the next generation of load management technologies through our work in the Power Shift Atlantic project in Canada. We are currently delivering “plant following” load control where we are dispatching resources to match the intermittent generation of the large scale wind projects, eliminating the need for costly backup generation. IDROP has demonstrated peak load reductions of 9% to 30% without impacting customer comfort.’
Register today to find out more about IDROP directly from Bill Kallock at SMi Group’s 2nd annual conference on European Demand Response and Dynamic Pricing, where you will also be able to hear from Scottish and Southern Energy, RWE Npower, DONG Energy, Vattenfall, Northern Powergrid, Microsoft plus many more.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
