fluid Operations Offers Unified Management for EMC® VSPEX™
Press release from: fluid Operations
The eCloudManager Product Suite from fluid Operations to offer end-to-end provisioning, management, monitoring and automation solution for EMC® VSPEX™
Walldorf, Germany – fluid Operations™, the leading provider of enterprise cloud and data management solutions based on semantic technologies, strengthens its position in the cloud management market by announcing that the eCloudManager™ Product Suite now delivers an end-to-end provisioning, management, monitoring and automation solution for EMC® VSPEX™ Proven Infrastructure. VSPEX infrastructures allow customers to accelerate their IT transformation, and consist of partner hypervisor, server and network technologies and EMC storage and data protection solutions which the customer can freely choose from. EMC partners delivering proven infrastructure for VSPEX include Brocade, Cisco, Citrix, Intel, Microsoft and VMware.
“We are very excited to be one of the first third-party product vendors to provide support for VSPEX infrastructures and offer a tool that does not only provide monitoring, but also complete management functionalities”, said Andreas Eberhart, Managing Director at fluid Operations. “Designed as an open, vendor-agnostic platform, the eCloudManager allows for the quick integration of new infrastructure or application resources using a provider concept and delivers, as such, an ideal management solution for EMC VSPEX.”
“VSPEX offers a new business opportunity for EMC partners to address small and medium size enterprises, as opposed to Vblock Infrastructure Packages which target larger enterprises. With VSPEX, EMC partners save money by providing customers with a proven infrastructure instead of bits and pieces of a solution. With eCloudManager for VSPEX we are happy to offer a “Vblock/UIM”-like solution for SMEs”, continued Thomas Kucher, Strategic Sales Executive Channel/Distribution at fluid Operations.
The eCloudManager natively integrates and leverages EMC Symmetrix® VMAX® / VMAXe® and EMC VNX® storage capabilities and maximizes hypervisor potential – regardless of the vendor, enabling the rapid provisioning, cloning, replication of enterprise workloads (e.g. SAP® enterprise application landscapes).
The eCloudManager’s full scope of VSPEX monitoring and management solution includes:
• IT as a Service concept that goes beyond compute services
• End-to-end data center monitoring and semantic correlation of information retrieved from the integrated resources
• Rapid, automated provisioning of entire enterprise application landscapes without any post-provisioning effort
• On-demand consumption of and access to enterprise applications through a customizable self-service portal
• Automatic error discovery and notification based on a rule / policy engine
• Optimized resource allocation based on SLAs and full SLA monitoring and reporting
• Granular metering information for all consumed resources
The eCloudManager Product Suite is qualified by EMC as a proven data center monitoring and management solution and is also available for purchase through the EMC® Select™ program.
About eCloudManager Product Suite
Leveraging its semantic integration foundation and the partnerships with major storage, virtualization, network and application vendors, the eCloudManager™ Product Suite from fluid Operations™ delivers an innovative platform for private and public cloud management, enabling the creation of a flexible and scalable cloud environment. Enabling end-to-end integration of resources, the eCloudManager allows for unified overview of all aspects of a private or public cloud. With its Landscape as a Service (LaaS)™ concept, the eCloudManager enables organizations to maximize the utilization of their virtualization investment and deploy and manage their own private cloud. The solution includes capabilities for advanced infrastructure and application monitoring, rapid provisioning of new systems or complete application landscapes through a self-service portal, as well as the efficient, automated handling of the daily operations of a private enterprise cloud. The eCloudManager allows enterprises to speed up application deployments, increase productivity, reduce time needed to correct problems and maximize ROI.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
Gabriele Ketterl,Director Marketing & PR, Menads
