A Distillery in Moldova Will Run on Biogas

Kyiv, Ukraine, June 06, 2012 -- Bioethanol distillery in Hînceşti, Moldova installed a biogas plant in order to cut down on its power related expenditure. As planned, biogas plant will be launched by the end of July 2012.
Distillery grain and production waste of a cattle farm will be used as a source material for biogas production. The plant is designed to process 200 tonnes of distillery grain and 40 tonnes of animal waste per day, manufacturing 7000 m3 of biogas.
Engineering design of the plant was developed by Zorg Biogas AG. The company also supplied the equipment and supervised plant’s installation.
