Berlin, 01. Juni 2012 - The Berlin film hotel at the Ku'damm is breaking new ground in terms of video marketing and is presenting its new advert and its development.

Let's take a look at a hotel in Berlin, in an excellent location and with a nice idea. A hotel at the Kurfürstendamm, which would like to stand out from standardised hotel chains and competitive superiority with a theme, an eye for detail and personalised service. The task was to find out how this could be achieved and how it could be conveyed in the best way.
The quote by Erik Qualman, the American author of "Socialnomics" set the course: "We don’t have a choice on whether we DO social media, the question is how well we DO it." It was agreed that people are most likely to react to a film and that it is the best media for conveying emotions. A film hotel is emotional! But it could not be the typical hotel film with a slide show and lift music - out of the question! The name of the Berlin film hotel already says it all and, therefore, a lot more creative magic was required.
So we thought about which partner we could take on board and after some brainstorming we got cracking! To do list: have a meeting with the webmaster Dirk Ehlert, now also a successful film composer and Head of "Scorecast Germany", check the budget and weigh out the options. The budget was low, as it unfortunately often is in the hotel business - thus, we had to be creative and check the usable material, then design the storyboard. There was another video film that looked promising in its development stage, though unfortunately it was not exploitable, but some sequences could be taken. Many cups of coffee later, there was a plan.

Touching film music and an impressive voice should appeal to the emotions, besides some impressive images - Live like a film star! Furthermore, we wanted to take up the theme of the hotel – an homage to stars and unforgettable film legends and base the advert on this, so that the thread of the hotel would be spun forth with the advert.
We were able to get Jasen Anthony as an impressive speaker and the beautiful music and the video editing originates from the pen (or keyboard) of Dirk Ehlert. The intro used was from the composer and conductor M. Paranov - now the advert for the Berlin film hotel was ready!
Of course, the advert was sent to friends and acquaintances first to check their reactions, because sometimes you get carried away with an idea and you become professionally blinkered. But the first comment of Ingrid Haggoud, Managing Director of the event agency punkt.e, was: "True cinema quality! You think, you are checking in at the Grand Hotel."
Now the marketing department "only" has to distribute the advert to the public youtu.be/PchlH-SU14c, use it effectively in Social Media, then today's message will be water under the bridge! [LIVE LIKE A FLIM STAR]

The Hollywood Media Hotel, located directly at the Kurfürstendamm, is a theme hotel, an homage to films, international stars and unforgettable film legends, it is entirely dedicated to the topic "film" and is designed with old film posters, valuable original set photos and film props. The hotel was opened in 1999 and belongs to the well-known German film producer Artur Brauner. All 182 rooms, suites and apartments are named after famous actors, directors and film classics. The hotel also has 9 conference rooms for 10 to 220 participants and its own film auditorium. A wellness and fitness centre is located on the upper floor of the hotel.
