Karlsruhe, 05/24/2012. Ungerboeck Software International recently hosted their very first road show event at the legendary Old Trafford Stadium of Manchester United. The event was the “kick-off” date for a series of road shows through the United Kingdom with more dates to follow. The event “Event Management for Sporting Venues” was targeted at arenas, stadia, racecourses, and sporting clubs of all sizes and introduced 3 new solution packages: Express, Standard and Enterprise. These packages allow for flexibility in the combination of functionality and budgets, enabling an upgrade later to add additional features from more advanced packages. This structure allows smaller organizations to benefit from relevant Ungerboeck Software features such as the Booking Calendar or CRM at a competitive price.

The attendees – conference and event organizers from small and medium-sized racecourses, cricket or football clubs in Great Britain – spent the day at Old Trafford to gain knowledge on successfully managing venues on match days and non-match days in order to generate additional revenue streams as well as increase the utilization of the venue through corporate or private events. Highlights of the event included a detailed Best Practice presentation held by Dave Algeo, Business Systems Executive of ACC Liverpool, showing how the Arena and Convention Centre Liverpool is using Ungerboeck Software for their daily business. Furthermore, an expert from Ungerboeck Software explained important aspects and relevant considerations when organizations decide to look for a capable and comprehensive event management software solution.

During a demonstration of Ungerboeck Software, the attendees saw how a software solution can facilitate their event management processes and actually help to market their venue on non-match days. While the attendees were more than happy to see the potential benefits of using such an integrated software solution, the event also turned out to be a great opportunity to network and share ideas.
