Job Shadowing allows a student to explore a specific career of interest by observing an employee perform their work duties at their place of employment. Gatekeeper Business Solutions hosted Serena Stump, daughter of Gatekeeper Employee Tina Stump, in providing a realistic work place experience. Tina is a Client Services Representative and serves as a direct point of contact for customers. She is responsible for ensuring that customers receive an exceptional level of service and assists time & attendance and payroll clients with questions and concerns. The Job Shadow practice enables students to learn important and unique aspects of the job, ask questions, and acquire hands-on experience.

The Job Shadow Day was held at Gatekeeper Business Solutions, Inc. in the Nixa, MO office. “This is an opportunity to help & guide students in their career paths,” Peter Dehlinger, of Gatekeeper Business Solutions notes. “The program also helps to build confidence.”
