A classic 1968 Camaro is morphing into a modern muscle car with Vivid Racing’s help. The power plant is a LSX which will produce monster numbers. This is squeezed into a fully boxed frame with modern day suspension and tubbed rear end to make way for the 11″ wide HRE C95′s.
Final wheel specs are 18×9 fronts and 18×11 rears featuring a satin bronze finish that is accented with silver hardware and center cap. The wheels will be wrapped in Nitto NT01 275/35 and 315/30 tires to provided excellent traction, which will be needed to put that power to the ground.
HRE's Competition Series wheels are individually engineered for weight optimization. Minimizing unsprung weight is a critical factor in any competition-oriented wheel design and one of the greatest engineering challenges. Lower wheel mass decreases resistance to accelerative, braking and suspension forces, and effectively improves handling dynamics.
