Kögel gets a large order from Lithuania

UAB Finėjas is getting 100 new trailers for its fleet

The Lithuanian forwarding company Finėjas, one of the biggest in the Baltic area, is now placing its trust in Kögel quality. The forwarding company will receive the first of the 100 ordered Kögel Cargo platform trailers via the long-term Kögel general importer for Lithuania – UAB Transuorė. The Cargo has impressed the forwarding company with its extensive level of standard equipment: This includes, amongst other things, a sliding roof which you can also slide to the rear for complete loading from the front to the rear. Also, on the Kögel Cargo there are no straps hanging down into the loading area when the roof is open because they are integrated into the roof tarpaulin. This entirely eliminates the straps snagging on the load.

The Kögel Cargo also offers low tare weight, large available volume and a high vertical load. The trailer tips the scales at approx. 6,000 kilogrammes. This makes it ideally suited for heavy duty transport. The profiled ladder-type frame is designed for 44 tons. The Cargo has an overall length of 13,950 millimetres, total width of 2,550 millimetres and has an overall height of 3,995 millimetres. As with all Kögel vehicles, the entire vehicle frame on the Kögel Cargo has long-term corrosion protection by nano cathodic dip-paint coating and subsequent painting.

Load-securing
Kögel demonstrates how best to secure the load with its Cargo models. The Cargo models have the load-securing certificate DIN EN 12642 XL. In addition, the trailers are equipped with a VaroFix external frame which permits virtually infinitely-variable lashing of the cargo.

Kögel, a brand steeped in more than 75 years of tradition, has earned itself a leading position throughout Europe and is now back in the limelight with renewed energy and an unmistakable blend of experience and expertise. Kögel has reinvented itself – by returning to the strengths that originally made the company great: A passion for transport, quality characterised by engineering, innovation that earns its name because it brings benefits for customers, In addition to products for the forwarding industry, there are now models for the construction industry, which is not entirely a new sphere of activity for Kögel.
